We are currently working in partnership with our local Clinical commissioning group. Clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) are NHS organisations set up by the Health and Social Care Act 2012 to organise the delivery of NHS services in England.

Visit to Riverside
Some of our children have been invited to Riverside to address the Directors of the Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group. This is as a direct result from a visit by the group to the school a few months ago. The pupils are going to raise health issues that they feel are relevant to them. Additionally they will also present an action plan that they believe, how best we can support the NHS to improve the health and wellbeing of the local community. The pupils are very much looking forward to meeting the Directors again and are excited to hear what the Directors think about their proposals. The pupils campaign starts with a bus journey to Riverside, 21st June.
February the 15th
Pupils from Year 6 hosted the Clinical Commissioning Group during the afternoon. The conference was extremely successful and rewarding.
After a number of presentations and a question and answer session, “Who wants to be a health millionaire?” the CCG then toured the school to view the current initiatives that the school has adopted in relation to health and wellbeing. Please take some time to view the pictures on display. Thank you.
