Eid Mubarak!

Eid Mubarak to all of our families and staff who will be celebrating over the weekend!

Please note that school is CLOSED on Monday 26th June 2017.  We will be open again as usual at 8:50am on Tuesday 27th June 2017.

At the start of the school year we decided to use one of our movable holiday dates to extend the weekend as we weren’t sure at that time what date Eid would be celebrated.  We published this a year ago on the 2016-17 school calendar.

Last week the governors shared with parents through the school newsletter that the closure scheduled for Monday 26th June would go ahead as planned, to allow as many of our families as possible to enjoy Eid and travel back from seeing friends and family around the country without affecting their child’s attendance at school.

Red Nose fundraising!

We had a fantastic day last Friday, with children and staff coming to school with messy hair!  We had mohawks, plaits and crazy colours to show our support for Red Nose Day, and of course sold red noses!

We’re proud to announce that we’ve raised a fantastic £444.34 for this amazing cause!
