New Menu

Our kitchen staff love to provide your children with a fantastic choice of meals each week.

All food is freshly prepared on site and is Halal certified. There are also vegetarian choices available each day.

As the weather starts to warm up (positive thinking!), the kitchens will also be providing prepared packed lunches for children who wish to enjoy a cold meal. Once our wonderful new playground is completed the children will be able to enjoy their packed lunches in our picnic areas.

If you would like your child to have a school meal, please give the office one week’s notice.

Online Payments

Every parent knows it’s difficult keeping track of all the school activities, clubs and events their children do. There’s always something to pay for – water bottles, dinner money, school visits
We are looking into the possibility of implementing an online payment and information system called ParentMail.

ParentMail helps make life just that little bit easier; with a single account you can receive information and make payments to school.

Parents and carers can also share an account so both can be kept up-to-date with everything that’s going on in their children’s lives.

You can use a ParentMail account from your computer or by using the free mobile phone App where you can:
Top-up dinner money & view your children’s dinner accounts online
Receive messages from school or clubs
Pay for trips and activities
Authorise trips and activities

All payments made through ParentMail are secure and no card/bank details are stored with either ParentMail or the school. If you do not have access to a computer or phone with internet connection, you would be able to make card payments at the school office. ParentMail would also notify you when your account is running low on credit.

We feel that this system would be a more secure way of bringing money into school – removing the need for children to carry money in book bags and providing you with a receipt via your account!

We are asking parents to let us know if this system is something they would be interested in us implementing. We must receive enough responses to justify us signing up. A letter will come home with your children this evening, therefore we would be grateful if you could complete the reply slip attached to it and return it to the school office as soon as possible.

Thank you!

Playground Works

KS1 playground design

We are pleased to announce that works began yesterday on the re-design and upgrade of our Key Stage 1 Playground.

Sean and his team from EightSpace submitted some fabulous designs which are featured above. EightSpace also worked tirelessly recently to design a Secret Garden and Allotment at the front of the Charter Street Building – which the children just love!

The designs for the KS1 Playground include such features as play platforms, bridges, picnic areas, shrubbery and a much needed ramp for pram access between buildings.

We hope that you will appreciate that such a huge project will take some time to complete, possibly up to the Summer Holidays. We will keep parents and carers posted with updates on the process.

Please bear in mind the implications to your and your children’s own health and safety during this time of renovation. If you are on the playground before/after school, please discourage children from leaning on/touching the fencing.

Thank you!
